Our Story


Over 25 years ago, BTAS, a woman-owned small business, kicked off a legacy of success with the U.S. Air Force as systems integrators at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Fairborn, Ohio. Through the years, we recognized the need to incorporate inexpensive emerging technologies to meet customer performance requirements and as a result, expanded our business nation-wide. We have grown into a program management service provider that also provides information and cyber solutions for the U.S. Air Force and Navy. From our earliest years, BTAS has received local and national recognition for outstanding business management and performance. We credit our success to three essential elements:

  1. Hire “knowledgeable workers” and place them in jobs tailored to their hard and soft skills
  2. Manage employee performance and enable them to work to their highest potential
  3. Develop or purchase value-added technology and understand how to maximize it for speed, efficiency, and awareness of success during (not after) performance

As early adopters of technology, we evaluate emerging technologies and test them in order to increase corporate and program performance. Our use of Microsoft SharePoint has progressed from beta form to BTAS developing over 85 SharePoint modules that include interactive workforce tools, workflows, and metrics. BTAS corporate philosophy is rooted in providing today’s knowledge workers a way to achieve greater performance for themselves and their organizations. Most recently, BTAS launched the Elevon Design Studio to integrate software developers and motion designers to expand their development potential. The result offers customers higher level of workforce and organizational performance through state-of-the-art training and organizational tools that improve the labor of all workers and organizations. BTAS is a small business with large business capabilities, processes, and tools. Because of our team-oriented mindset and ISO Quality Management System, we are able to flex with projects for maximum effectiveness, grow with customer needs, and efficiently scale our solutions to serve a larger population. Because we are agile, we enjoy synchronicity and work to stay “connected” as an organization. To remain agile, you cannot waste time implementing policies, process, or performing practices that are inefficient. That fact has caused us to examine a better way to act.
