SMC Public Affairs Directorate Receives Gill Robb Wilson Award

The SMC Public Affairs Directorate, Atlas Corps team out in Los Angeles Air Force Base received the Air Force Association Gill Robb Wilson Award! We are thrilled to be an integral part of this outstanding team. The team was recognized for its efforts in producing a video about SMC’s SCI Nomination Evaluation Tool, a partnership innovation that is reducing SCI processing by up to 80%.

The SMC Commander, Lt. Gen. Thompson stated, “Our Public Affairs Directorate has done an amazing job documenting all the incredible space capabilities developed, produced, launched, and sustained by Team SMC as well as showcasing how the 61st ABG services the on base workforce and the community. I was so proud to recognize these teams during the CSO and CMSSF visit last week!  These awards would not be possible without the unwavering support from their families, supervisors, and teammates.  Great wins for SMC and kudos to these stellar teams!”
